One Visit TV Repair

The best case is: Technician has parts with him and/or there are minor problems relating to poor plug connections, minor faults on boards or adjustment/hook-up issues that can be repaired on-site .

Cost $65 to $335 + parts.

Two Visit Complete Repair

First service call to confirm fault and part needed. 2nd Scall to return and complete repair.

Tech may troubleshoot and identify needed part. Then return with part for installation.

Cost $130-$190 + parts

Dead TV or Blinking Lights

A Dead condition usually occurs when ICs, transistors or other components fail.  The safety shutdown circuit in the power supply senses the problem and stops the TV from turning on. Sometimes the failed component is a part of a Processor or Display Driver circuit board that must be replaced. Sometimes power supply is damaged and needs replacement also. Sometimes problem is power supply board only.

Tech may:

• Complete repair with minimal work required as in bad connections or hook-up or operator problems.
  
• Determine that the Screen Assembly  or other part required for repair is too expensive and repair is not practical.

2. $30-$60 Access unit, Troubleshoot, Minor Repair
3. $65 - $95 total -  Incomplete repair

One Visit Complete TV Repair 

Tech may have parts with him and complete repair with one visit:

1. $35 S/call (In Service Area)
2. $60- $180 Repair unit, replace boards
3. $ parts cost
4. $95-$215 + parts = Total

Two Visit Complete TV Repair

Technician may troubleshoot and identify needed part. Then return with part for installation, 2 visits. 

1. $35 S/call (In Service Area)
2. $30-$90 troubleshoot/Identify part required
3. $ parts cost.
4. $35 second install parts service call
5. $60 - $120 repair unit, replace boards
6. $160-$190+ parts = Total  (2 trips)

The attending technician must have access to the unit for repair. This may require the customer's assistance in lifting, dis-mounting  or accessing units for repair
